Another blog :)

I’ve decided to have two blogs.  This one, of course, is for knitting and crocheting, and whatever else I want to share with you about my life 🙂  My new one, though, is specifically for my journey in weight loss, exercise and becoming a healthier me.  If you’d like to check it out (and I really want you to, I am BEGGING you to, because I SO need any support I can get!!!!) then you can see it at

In other news, I have 900 projects going, and have, of course, started number 901.  It’s a test run really.  I don’t know if I am going to like it.  I’ve taken the Snowdrop Lace Facecloth and extended it into a small throw size, hopefully for a friend for Christmas. If I hate it, of course, I’m tearing it out and she’ll get something else. I started making her the star afghan that I think I posted about last time (or you can see it in my Ravelry projects because I haven’t deleted it yet) but I just wasn’t liking the way it was turning out, so I ripped and casted this on instead. I hope she likes it! That’s my main project for now. Nothing else new with knitting.

In baby news, MY SISTER HAD HER BABY!!!! A beautiful little boy named Trapper Lee (after his daddy and our dad, who passed away when I was 16 and my sister was 8). Trapper is his daddy’s first name, Lee was our dad’s middle name. He was 8 lbs 1 oz. LOL My mom’s husband first said he was 8 lbs 7 oz, then later said it was 8 lbs 9 oz. And my mom said 8 lbs 1 oz. I finally got in touch with my sister and she confirmed what the weight was. She also told me that the scale really was 80.9 pounds, and that was just 8 lbs 1 oz. I tried to tell her that 80.9 pounds meant eighty pounds nine ounces, and she wouldn’t hear any of it. So I finally gave up, let her think she was right, and chalked it up to her morphine from the c-section. The next day, I explained to her that this could not be, she did not have an 80 pounds baby, I was sure of it LOL. Anyway, he is a cutie patootie and I can’t wait to meet him. We’re hoping it happens at Thanksgiving next week, but it depends on how she is feeling.
